Sangha Walk

Our Sangha Walk will be in the beautiful Cotswold countryside around the villages of Hawkesbury Upton and Hawkesbury. This is a circular walk of around 6 miles on easy paths with two short climbs.   The walk will take 3 to 4 hours, depending on how long we stop for our picnic lunch. There will be a period of 30 to 40 minutes silent walking, probably after lunch. There is the option of having a cup of tea in the Beaufort Arms pub in the village at the end of the walk.

We start and end the walk from the village hall carpark in Hawkesbury Upton - see below – parking is free.  The route follows paths and tracks along quiet wooded valleys, passing though hamlets and rising up into more open countryside along part of the Cotswold Way with wide vistas across the Severn Estuary and beyond.
